  1. I use the Canon 65mm macro. It is very helpful to place the lens on a sliding rail to focus the camera as the lens does not focus, but only changes magnification. I purchased a very reasonable rail for about $125 that works fine.

  2. Thanks for a really good tutorial. There's one type of attachment you didn't mention – close-up lenses front mounted on the filter thread. In particular, check out Raynox close-up lenses which really are fantastic. – Bill

  5. It's important to point out the peculiarities with the Canon 65mm Macro, I'm very knowledgeable but even I didn't know until recently that it is always in focus, and you actually focus with the magnification. I big learning step for most.

  6. I've always wondered what would happen if you used the MP-E 65mm with a macro bellow.
