    Interesting video, thanks. I'm still debating focal length. The 60mm doubles as a nice standard, I'm guessing. The 105mm, however, doubles as a nice portrait lens. If shooting bugs is not a priority, get a 60mm I guess? Also, isn't it an advantage (at events) of a shorter focal length that you get more context into the shot even if you're at 1:1 distance? Still confused…

  2. Good tips Eric. I prefer to use manual focus and set my focus to what I want and then use my body to focus. Been working for me..other option is to use a tripod with a focus rail.
